NASA Jobs to Head to Huntsville

Thousands of NASA employees will be losing their jobs soon.

The Obama administration upheld a decision by the Bush administration to shut down the space shuttle program at Kennedy Space center.

This means 3,500 workers will be out of a job.

Meanwhile, Huntsville city officials and members of the chamber of commerce are hoping to recruit some of those workers to Huntsville.

City officials say about 4,000 of those jobs will be re-located to Huntsville because of the consolidation of the Missile Defense Agency.
