NASA To Hold Teleconference To Discuss New Findings About Mars

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., will host a media teleconference at noon PDT on Thursday, Sept. 24, to discuss new research results from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The findings will be reported in Friday's edition of the journal Science. NASA will stream audio from the teleconference online.

The teleconference participants are:
- Ken Edgett, team member, Context Camera, Malin Space Science Systems, San Diego
- Shane Byrne, team member, High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment, University of Arizona
- Selby Cull, team member, Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars, Washington University in St. Louis

To participate in the teleconference, reporters must contact the JPL Media Relations Office at 818-354-5011 in advance for the call-in number and passcode.
