UFO Events Part 1

If you only go to a few events regarding UFO and other Phenonmena this year, here are two you have to see and they are coming up quick so now is the time to make plans!

#1 The Roswell New Mexico Festival Thrusday July 2nd through Sunday July 5th :and

#2 The 40th Anniversary International MUFON Symposium in Denver on August 6th through 9th!

ROSWELL

If you don't know the history about Roswell, you must either be an alien or just born. Briefly, an object crashed in July 1947 just north of Roswell, New Mexico. Although first reports confirmed everything from a space ship crash to dead alien bodies taken by the government from the crash site. Later the US government, through its armed forces, did a back step and denied any UFO or alien activity was involved. Presumeably this is beginning of the confirmation of two events. First that aliens do indeed exist and secondly that the govenment is trying to hide their existance from the public, i.e, the conspiracy theory!!

The four-day event is full of guest speakers, live entertainment (Jefferson Starship of course) , lots of events for the family and a parade with a costume contest. There is expected to be lots of costumed characters everywhere, even in places you least expect it! (See below) According to Rene Roach, the Marketing Director a large part of the focus of the UFO festivities is oriented towards the family and especially kids - don't forget your pet! Of course for the UFOlogist there are plenty of well known Presenters with topics of interest . . covered in part 2 of this article.

If you are going to go, check out the official ROSWELL UFO site and register for a hotel room early . . .their going fast. With all the alien costumes, you never know which aliens are real and which are not!!! You also never know where you will meet your next alien!
