Is it an alien or lantern

Mysterious orange lights have been spotted in the night sky all over the country in the last few weeks, sparking excitement among UFO watchers.

The apparitions are said to rise from the ground, then hover in the atmosphere for a few minutes before disappearing.

Eyewitnesses say the lights seem to dart about as if they are playing a game.

Are these celestial lights the conclusive evidence we have all been waiting for that we are not alone?

Sadly not, as they have turned out to simply be Chinese lanterns.

Decorations commonly used at weddings and birthdays, the good weather has meant that more and more people are using them, causing confusion to UFO watchers and military analysts alike.

So it is less a case of ET and more Four Weddings and a Funeral.
